It is with huge sadness that I have to write to everyone that earlier on Easter Sunday  Greta Franklin “Starexpress”  sadly passed away. She came out of hospital last Sunday after a two year battle learning her final treatment had not been successful, it was unfortunately the last attempt to save her. She phoned me when she got back to tell me the news, we had another of our long long calls and said our goodbyes, she remained Greta to the end, even knowing she had only at the most two weeks she threw a family party on the Saturday for her children and grandchildren before going into end of life at home. She passed away with Judd and her children around her peacefully in her own bed.

                   RIP

Greta you had a full and happy life amongst all your beautiful dogs past and present, family and friends.

We met at our first Bolognese show her from her wonderful Maltese, myself from my beloved Cavaliers it was the start of a 15 year friendship. We have arranged our next meeting, to meet at the Rainbow Bridge with our dogs, we just never knew until today who would have to wait for who.
